TOTE-M Consumer Research Report on Loyalty, (Potential) Churn and Testimonials 2009

On June 24 the "TOTE-M Consumer Research Report on Loyalty, (Potential) Churn and Testimonials 2009" has been published. One of the conclusions is that consumers are increasingly using chats, tweets, blogs and online reviews to guide their purchase of products and services. Online testimonials are the determining factor of 25% of purchases of consumer electronics, holidays, books and films. Testimonials are used to justify an initial choice. Education plays a part as well: the higher the  education, the higher the influence of testimonials.
